You have to print this as big as possible for it to come out right on your printer (about 6in/152mm tall) using your 0.5mm nozzle. If you have a smaller nozzle size than 0.5mm, you may be able to print this even smaller. It was a very hard print, but it came out pretty well!Download

No batteries, no motor, no electronics... The shape of the sundial has been mathematically designed to only let through the right sunrays at the right time/angle. This allows to display the actual time with sunlit digits inside the sundial's shadow.You'll also need :

A mini wind turbine project. The blades with rotor were taken, but modified, from larsonmattr's Mini - Wind Turbine.
We added a motor holder, tower, and base. All parts are pressure fitted for convenience, except where the top of the tower meets the motor holder, by design We allow the motor holder to rotate with strong winds. If a fixed position is desired, it can be easily modified with some glue. The motor opening is 15.2 mm x 19.8 mm, and rotor will accept a 2 mm shaft diameter.Download

The pinion needs ample support to ensure smooth meshing with the ring gear. We use Simplify3D and had to add support manually to cover all teeth, No other part needs support beyond the default amount.
